October is Italian Cultural Month and we will help kick it off with a special tribute to Eddie Lang ( born Salvatore Massaro ) with cocktails, silent auction, live music and dance performances.

We are proud to partner with Jane Golden and Philadelphia's Mural Arts Program as they honor the
"Father of Jazz Guitar" with a glorious 60 foot tall Wall Mural , right in the neighborhood he was raised and walked to streets to the James Campbell School , met Joe Venuti and learned to play violin , banjo and guitar ! Our city is decorated with MAPs paintings and murals telling the history of our great city and everyone is welcome to this free event as we officially unveil his wall !

Blackbird Society Orchestra 'live'
We will help set the tone for the celebrations the next day with the music of Eddie Lang . Please call ahead for reservations as this fine establishment is often sold out in advance !
